Hoarding can become a public health problem when the collection of materials pose as a significant health hazard risk. The collection of materials usually contain items that may injure or exacerbate disease (e.g. open needles, contaminated biological products, abundant heavy objects attributing to falls or other injury). Our task force works with the public to mitigate the hoarding behavior with our hoarding task force.
